Add a new user on Bear IQ

In this article, we'll walk you through the process of adding new users to your Bear IQ platform. Whether you're an event organizer looking to give your team access to event data, or a business analyst needing to share insights with colleagues, adding new users is a simple and straightforward process.

1. Log into Bear IQ

Access your Bear IQ account at Once you log in, you'll see the each of your event insight modules with all the insights for your event.

2. Navigate to the 'Users' tab

  • On the left side of your screen, you'll find a slide-out menu.
  • Click on the 'Users' tab to access the list of all users who have access to your event analytics dashboard.

3. Click the "Add User"

  • On the top right corner of your screen, you'll find a blue "Add User" button.
  • Click on it to start the process of adding a new user to your platform.

4. Submit the new user's information

  • Once you click on the "Add User" button, you'll see a form where you need to submit the new user's email address and full name.
  • Make sure you enter the correct email address to ensure that the new user receives the invitation to access Bear IQ.

5. Set the user's permission level

Choose the role you want to assign to the new user from the dropdown menu. There are two options available:

  • Event Organizer Admin: If you want the new user to be able to add other users to your platform, select this option.
  • Event Organizer User: If you want the new user to have access to your event analytics dashboard, but not be able to add other users, select this option.

6. Click "Add User"

Once you've filled in all the required fields, click on the "Add User" button at the bottom of the form to add the new user to your platform.

7. Notify the new user

  • After you've added the new user to your platform, a confirmation email will be sent to their email address, inviting them to verify their address and create a new password.
  • It's a good idea to notify the new user separately and ask them to look out for this email.
    • You should have received an email from prompting you to create a password and set up your account.
